Advertising on social media comes with many advantages. You will be able to reach a specific target audience and drive leads to your website, shop or online platforms.
Let’s jump right into it. To have a successful Ad running on Facebook and Instagram, pay attention to these points;
Posts you are going to promote should be planned within your monthly/weekly content. This way you will be promoting posts in order to reach a certain goal that month. Maybe you want to increase sales that month or make people aware of new services you are introducing and so much more.
Let’s dive in deeper with a few examples!
Use an image that represents your service/product.
Let’s say you are a travel agency. Make sure a few posts each month showcase the most eye-catching picture or video of experiences you offer. Something that your target audience will not pass without clicking.
Use a catchy phrase.
Or a short and simple heading that says what the product does. The aim of this is to convince your target audience why your product/service is right for them.
Include CTA.
CTA meaning Call To Action, is what you want/tell people to do after seeing your post. This is the most important part that many people fail to consider. CTA can lead to audiences to a sales page, to fill a form, to call your business, to repost your Ad etc.
With updates that Facebook and Instagram has made to make it easier for businesses to advertise, you can now choose to add a call to action on to your Ad.
Post it as a post on both Facebook and Instagram.
A simple trick that I learned when I first started managing Ads was to promote Facebook and Instagram posts separately. If you have used Ads manager before, there is a part where you can choose where to show your Ads, either on both platforms or just one that you choose.
I find this works best for my clients, Ads budget will be used more on the platform that you choose instead of sharing it on both platforms. And also sometime you just want to reach audiences on a single platform.
Use Ads Manager or Facebook Business.
Never promote your post directly from your page. You will be loosing so many chances perfect your target reach. Always use Ads Manager on your phone, which is very easy to use or Facebook business.
What else do you always consider when promoting your posts?
